Per NCLB, any school district that does not meet any of the Title III AMAOs must send a letter notifying parents within 30 days of receiving notice from the State. Additionally, the district must identify the number of letters that are sent home in English only and in languages other than English.
In an effort to collect the data on the number of letters that are sent home, the local school lead ESOL teacher should provide that information on the online form at the following link: http://tinyurl.com/Cobb2011AMAOs

The letters must be downloaded, printed, copied and distributed to the parents of all ESOL students (active, monitored and waived by Tuesday, February 7, 2012. The data must be entered on the online form by this date as well.
***Make sure that all letters that are sent home in a language other than English, have the English version on the other side.
