Title III assistance to private schools is offered only for identified ESOL students attending a private school within Cobb County School District. Title I assistance is offered only for students who reside in Cobb County School District AND would attend a Title I CCSD school.

Private school personnel who would like more information regarding Cobb County School District's Title I or Title III Programs, should contact:

Title III Resources for Private Schools

Per NCLB 2001, all students upon enrollment must be administered the Home Language Survey. This survey consists of three questions. If there is an indication of a language other than English, the student's English language proficiency must be assessed with a language proficiency assessment. The State of Georgia is aligned with the WIDA Consortium and thus, utilizes the W-APT assessment.  Information regarding the W-APT can be obtained from the WIDA Consortium website: http://www.wida.us/
