Why should teachers integrate technology?
Marc Prensky in his 2001 article "Digital Natives, Digital Immigrants" tells us that our students today are no longer the students that our educational system was designed to teach. Our students are digital natives. They have grown up with technology and their brains are different! We teachers are the digital immigrants and often speak "an out-dated language (that of the pre-digital age)." Teachers must learn the language of technology in order to engage these students.
