The Center for Language and Education Research offers a variety of free web technologies for educators. One of these tools is the Audio Dropbox,
this tool allows your students to record voice over their browser and
send them to you. The teachers can access the voice recordings from any
browser and download the recordings as MP3 files. This is a great tool
to practice and assess speaking in an individualized way without
putting the students on the spot in front of the class. It also allows
the teachers to save time when doing speaking assessment and keep the
recordings for further review.
